Here in the UK, 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health illness each year. Our goal is to help people rebuild their self-esteem by tackling some of the challenges caused by social exclusion, disability and other life circumstances.
How to help
What's the best way to help a friend, team-mate or partner?
The easiest way to help someone you’re worried about is to give them a safe, non-judgmental space to voice their thoughts. By simply listening to them and being physically and emotionally present, you’ll be far more effective than trying to offer advice.
Speaking to someone that’s prepared to listen is often the first step. If you have a story you’d like to share with us, or simply want to start the ball rolling, you can start the conversation with one of the links below.
